The Author considers the role of mass media in the formation of legal consciousness in modern society. The mechanism of work of Prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation with mass media is offered. The article considers the possibility of using PR-technologies as a way of forming of the image of the Prosecutor's office. The main stages of the organization of the system of measures to form and improve the image of the Prosecutor's office are proposed.
