Interaction of narrative and dramatic beginnings in the work of N. Sadur (on the example of the story and the play "They froze")

The article reveals the dramatic elements in the story by N. Sadur "Frozen" from the collection of short stories "The Pierced" and the elements of epicalization in the play of the same name, written later. The interaction of the elements of epic and drama is one of the important features of N. Sadur's works. An epic vision of the world was found in a number of dramatic works staged on stage. The dramatic depiction of life, the constant interest and love of the author to the theater have also been expressed in novels, narrative stories. It is difficult to find an explanation for this feature of the writer's work. First of all, it is connected with the specificity of the author's artistic thinking, his world outlook. The peculiarity of N. Sadur's talent, consisting of two equally strong origins - epic and dramatic, narrative and theatrical, is reviewed on the example of the story "Frozen" and a play written based on this story.
