Глобальная геополитическая ситуация сегодня постоянно изменяется. Происходит перераспределение сил, перезаключаются старые союзы и формируются новые связи. Взаимодействие России и Китая в Центральной Азии очень важно в этом контексте. Пекин участвует в развитии инфраструктуры и экономического сотрудничества с государствами региона в рамках инициативы «Один пояс, один путь», а Москва имеет исторические связи с ними. Западные ученые придерживаются собственных взглядов на выстраивание многостороннего взаимодействия в данном регионе, которые можно свести к пяти: перспективное стратегическое партнерство, экономическое сотрудничество и взаимосвязанность, геополитическая конкуренция, евразийская интеграция, региональное реагирование и балансирование. Целью данной работы является репрезентация западного взгляда на развитие российско-китайского взаимодействия в Центральной Азии на фоне меняющейся международной ситуации.
