Interaction between transnational corporations and the state when implementing foreign economic policy

International political relations are becoming more economical today. The growing interdependence of world politics and economy makes it possible to use the interdisciplinary approach to study the relationship among the actors while implementing state foreign economic policy. Transnational corporations play an important role in promoting and protecting national interests, and the efficiency of the foreign economic policy mechanism depends on the form and effectiveness of cooperation among the actors. The paper examines the basics of the interaction of transnational corporations with the state within the framework of state foreign economic policy in the international arena. Based on the analysis of official documents, expert opinions, and scientific publications on this issue, the cooperation among the actors is considered from the perspective of international political economy. The institutional mechanism of the foreign economic policy of the Russian Federation is shown on the novel graph.
