Today, the problem of professional adaptation of young people is especially relevant. The turnover rate among young workers is higher than among workers of other ages. The article discusses the theoretical aspects of the concept of adaptation; factors that negatively affect the socio-psychological adaptation of young workers are listed. The experience of cooperation between an educational institution and an industrial enterprise in the field of ensuring early professionalization of youth is reviewed. The method of complete immersion of students into the professional environment of an enterprise, used as a tool for professional adaptation, is described.
