Relationship of historical memory and time perspective (through the example of students in the Republic of Buryatia)

The study of the phenomenon of "frontier" in the social sciences is one of the unexplored areas of Public consciousness, presenting significant and relevant field for cross-cultural study of modern processes. In this work we discuss such concepts as memory, identity and time perspective. The phenomenon of "frontiers" is considered as the result of transcultural interactions. Material for study of time perspective in the context of "frontiers " was a pilot study, in which students and young workers aged from 18 to 30 years old living in Buryatia were interviewed.
