The relationship between ecology and economics

The paper considers the issues of interaction between ecology and economics. Current trends in economic activity cause irreparable damage to the ecosystem, environmental degradation, in turn, can lead to a long-term economic downturn. The economy must function to prevent pollution of the planet by providing incentives that promote efficient use of resources and waste disposal.
