Interrelation of ethnic identity and value-semantic orientation of personality in adolescence among representatives of the Dargin ethnic group

The problem of interrelation of the main types of ethnic identity with the value orientations of the value-semantic system of young people representing the Dargin ethnic group is considered. The article presents an analysis of modern ideas about ethnic identity, which are reflected in the scientific literature. The results of a pilot study of key aspects of the ethnic identity of students of Dargin nationality who are studying at Dagestan state University are highlighted. The article shows the relationship between the ethno-national self-consciousness of young people and their life attitudes.
