The problem of the relationship of self-actualization and sexual identity in youth, which becomes relevant in modern society in the postmodern era, is studied. The differences between young men and women in the parameters of sexual identity named «Strength», «Assessment», «Activity» in the low, medium and high levels of self-actualization are analyzed. Differences in young men in terms of «Strength» and «Activity» depending on the level of self-actualization are revealed. At a high level, men evaluate their sex more positively, more actively, strongly. There are no differences in young women. They do not evaluate their gender more positively with increasing levels of self-actualization.
