The article focuses on the psychological aspects of the formation and development of organizational culture, which is presented as a complex phenomenon that includes business concepts, values, norms of behavior and psychological atmosphere in the team. The article briefly presents the results of our own pilot study to identify the relationship between the personal characteristics of employees of organizations in the modern business environment and the psychological atmosphere in the team. The main diagnostic methods were: R. Cattell's 16-factor questionnaire adapted by A. G. Shmelev, V. I. Pokhilko, A. S. Soloveichik and the method for assessing the psychological atmosphere in the team by A. F. Fidler and adapted by Yu. L. The analysis of the results was carried out using the Spearman rank correlation coefficient. Working women and men aged 18 to 45 years took part in the study. The study established a connection between straightforwardness and nonconformism of employees and a low level of psychological atmosphere in their team and a connection between introversion of employees and a high level of psychological atmosphere in their work group. The results obtained can be useful for practical application in personnel management and development of strategies for building an effective organizational culture.
