The relationship of self-esteem with sociometric status in the group

The article deals with the relationship of self-esteem with sociometric status in the group of adolescents 12-13 years. The study was conducted using the technique Shchetinina A. M. "Tell me about yourself" and the method of sociometry. It is revealed that the higher the appearance and ability of students is estimated by their peers, the higher is their self-attitude. One of the Central problems of modern psychology is the problem of self-understanding of man, building his image of his self.it is Known that the development of the world by man, as well as his own development, begins with the knowledge of himself, his inner world. The sphere of studying the understanding of the personality itself is considered among the leading areas of research of complex processes of formation of the human personality, its relationships with the surrounding world, as well as the construction of the inner world, which has integrity and uniqueness.
