A procedural decision, as an element of criminal procedure, ensures the dynamics of criminal proceedings and is made by officials under the influence of external and internal factors, which in practice lead to a distorted perception of the interconnectedness of procedural decisions and their development into procedural interdependence. Based on the conducted research, it has been es-tablished that the interconnectedness of procedural decisions is determined based on the permanent purpose of the criminal process and the local purpose of a specific procedural decision and is limited by the current principles of criminal procedure.
