Views of Lev Isaevich Sheinis on criminology, crime, its causes and measures to counteract it: a historical and criminological study

The aim is to expand the understanding of the origins of criminological education in Russia through the activities of one of the first teachers of criminology - Lev I. Sheinis. Methods of research: the historical method was used as the main method of research, with the help of which the assessment of criminological education and the content of criminology in the early XX century was given through analyzing the literary works of L. I. Sheinis.
