In 1945, after the end of World War II, the world community faced the question of maintaining security and international peace, and it was with this purpose that the United Nations was created. The United Nations Organization (UN) is an international organization of states whose main goals are the maintenance and strengthening of international peace, security, and the development of cooperation between countries.
