The review considered monograph by H. Vashkelevich, Polish scholar and translator of L. Petrushevskaya works that has not familiar to Russian readers, but might be of great interest. Revealed that the author of the reviewed book highlights the multidimensionality, concentricity and asymmetry as main particular qualities that organize poetic in L. Petrushevskaya's art works. The implementations of these qualities are traced by H. Vashkelevich for all seven sections in the book that devoted to an analysis of particular texts. The review describes the author’s skills in analysis of details, as well as an extensive bibliography, that is supported research.
