During the years of independence, as a result of economic reforms in agriculture, shirkats and collective farms were abolished and initially more than 220,000 farms were established, and in order to increase the productivity of farms, their land areas were optimized and 76804 farming enterprises are functioning today. Of these, 6349 livestock breeding farms are operating.

In the report of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan IAKarimov on the results of socio-economic development of the country for 2014 and the most important priorities of the economic program for 2015, the country's gross domestic product grew by 8.1%, including gross agricultural output - With a 9% growth in the country, optimization of crop areas and the zoning of agricultural crops resulted in a comprehensive policy of raw materials and export ahsulot stored in the volume of cotton production, which is relatively stable, the other a few times increase the production of agricultural products, the most important of our food products created from the ground, but also to provide them with an opportunity to export is established [1].

Livestock breeding is rapidly developing in our country. The Decree of the President Islam Karimov "On Additional Measures to Expand Livestock Production in Livelihoods, Farms and Farms and Expand Livestock Production" of April 21, 2008 serves as an important factor. This decision, aimed at the development of livestock farms, the establishment of breeding enterprises and increasing the welfare of the population, is an important tool in the development of the network.

Consistent efforts to sell livestock to the population and farms through auctions, allocation of targeted and preferential loans to the industry, provision of food, quality and quantity of veterinary services provide an abundance of livestock products in our country. The number of livestock is increasing in the private farm.

In our country, in 2010, more than 6 million 27 thousand cattle were raised in personal subsidiary and dehkan farms, and now their number has increased to 10,994 million by January 2015. As of January 1, 2015 the number of cattle increased by 387,6 thousand heads (by 3,7 percent), cows by 64,3 thousand (by 1,6 percent), sheep and goats by 727,2 thousand heads (By 4.1 percent), and poultry increased by 3857.8 thousand (7.4 percent).

The share of dekhkan farms in the total number of cattle is 93.4%, cows -94.5%, sheep and goats - 83.8%, poultry - 84.6%, farms - 5.0% of cattle, 4.6% 7.2% of sheep and goats, 9.7% of poultry.

In 2014, 1906,500 tonnes of meat (in live weight) (by 6,7% more than in 2013), 8432,800 tonnes of milk (7,0%), and 4449,9 mln. eggs (by 13.0 percent more), 34.4 thousand tons of wool (6.2 percent more), 1063.4 thousand of carcasses (by 0.3 percent).

The share of dekhkan farms was 94.4% in the total volume of meat production, 95.6% in milk production, 55.1% in the production of eggs, 85.7% in wool production and 78.2% in the production of karakul.

As of January 1, 2015, livestock farms produced 545.2 thousand heads of cattle, including cows - 187.2 thousand heads, sheep and goats - 1336.6 thousand heads, poultry - 5739.6 thousand heads. As of January 1, 2014, the number of cattle in farms increased by 5.4 thousand heads (by 1.0 percent compared to the same period of the previous year), including cows by 0.9 thousand (0.5 percent), sheep and goats by 26.6 thousand (By 2,0 percent), and poultry increased by 236,5 thousand (by 3,7 percent).

Effective management of production processes is crucial for the sustainable development of livestock breeding. Good network management, planning and analysis should be properly managed and rational use of existing internal resources.

In general, for the development of the livestock sector it is necessary to take the following measures:

Ensure that all production facilities available in the livestock sector are used throughout the year to ensure quality and timely fulfillment of all business activities efficiently and effectively;

Increase productivity by increasing the productivity of livestock;

Improvement of effective forms and incentives system of labor;

reducing the disparity between the costs of agricultural producers and agricultural products;

lower costs of livestock products through creation of a solid food base, increasing the level of mechanization, automation of production processes through the introduction of cost-effective new technologies, innovative technologies.
