The Development of Literature and Literary Criticism in Mongolia in the Early 21st Century

The article provides a brief overview of literary studies and criticism from 2001 to 2021. The history of literary criticism in Mongolia is analyzed, with particular attention given to its developmental features, various genres, and lessons learned from past mistakes and achievements, utilizing both historical and theoretical approaches. Additionally, it is noted that artistic criticism has grown over time. Since the 2000s, Mongolian literature has evolved based on its unique characteristics and the accomplishments of earlier periods. The study characterizes the development of research and analyzes new theoretical approaches, emphasizing the importance of learning from past errors. The main goal of the article is to present a concise evolution of Mongolian literary theory and criticism in this new era, identifying new trends and development prospects.
