Beyond the “linguistic turn”. Development trends of Anglo-American historical epistemology in 2000-2015-s

The article deals with the value and place of the "linguistic turn" in the contemporary Anglo-American theoretical historical reflection. The author aims to determine the extent and nature of the influence of theoretical and methodological bases of the "linguistic turn" on the studies of British and American practicing historians in 2000-2015s. Along with numerous attempts to break through the "impasse of linguistic turn" and critical understanding of theoretical foundations of the "new intellectual history" and the cultural history of the second half of the XX century, the early 2000s are characterized by updating the achievements of the "linguistic turn" in particular historical researches.
