Provides data on morbidity and mortality from malignant neoplasms of the population of the South of the Tyumen region in 2016. According to the regional population-based cancer registry in 2016 in Tyumen region was the first registered 5717 cases of malignant tumors, including 2935 (51,8%) in women and 2782 (48,2%) in men. Relative (rough) indicator of cancer rates - 392,14 100 thousand average population. Men dominated neoplasm of trachea, bronchus, lung - 20,0%, prostate - 18.5% of the skin is 8.4%. Women - breast tumor - 21,5%, skin - 14.9%, and the colon is 7.5%. The proportion of malignant tumors detected in stage IV of the process, increased by 1.8% compared to 2015, and amounted to 21,57%. The proportion of patients with identified tumors in stage IV, remained high in pancreatic cancer - 60%, oral cavity and pharynx - 48,7%, liver - 45,65%. An indicator of neglect (stage IV and stage III TESTING visual localization) was 25%, which is 5.5% lower than in 2015. In the structure of mortality of population of the Tyumen region from malignant neoplasms of the greatest specific weight: trachea, bronchi, lungs - is 19.8%, stomach - 9.7% of the colon or 7.2% of the breast - 7,1%, rectum, rectosigmoid joints, the anus is 5.8%. The authors conclude that the analysis of statistical data demonstrates increased morbidity and mortality from malignant neoplasms of the population of the Tyumen region in 2016. For a number of malignant tumours, the positive trend in earlier detection and consequently reduce mortality. This will determine priorities for the development of cancer services in the region.
