Morbidity and mortality of the population of the Tyumen region with malignant neoplasms of the stomach in 2014-2018

The comparative analysis of data on mortality and morbidity of the population of the South of the Tyumen region (TR) and Russian Federation (RF) from gastric cancer (GC) from 2014 - 2018. According to the regional population cancer registry relative (gross) incidence of malignant neoplasms (EIT) of the stomach in TR for the analyzed period increased from 21.78 to 21.95 per 100 thousand of the average population. Similar data for the Russian Federation amounted to 25.88 and 25.16 per 100 thousand of the average annual population, which is higher than in the Tyumen oblast. Rates of one-year mortality from stomach cancer in the TR increased in 2014-2018 from 30.07% to 40.67%. In Russia, there was a decrease in this indicator (48.7% and 47.4%). In the structure of mortality from malignant neoplasms of the stomach in 2018, rough indicators are-12.8 (Russia - 18.97), in 2014-13.5 (Russia - 21.41) per 100 thousand population.
