Risk factors the incidence of major joints osteoarthrosis of the lower limbs in the citizen of Kurgan region

The article reports on the data of the study of risk factors the incidence of major joints osteoarthrosis of the lower limbs in the citizen of Kurgan region aged from 17 to 83 years. Questionnaire survey of 2227 respondents, complex and screening study of 3537 in the different clinical and prophylactic institutions (rural clinic, polyclinic of CRH, Municipal polyclinic and specialized consultation clinic of RISC "RTO") in 2007 have been performed. Performed study resulted in revealing high incidence of osteoarthrosis disease of Kurgan region citizens. Risk factors of OA development are as follows: physical labor, living in the rural area and non-balanced food. Low appealability for specialized orthopaedic aid, late diagnostics and inadequate untimely treatment are the main causes of severe OA
