The article presents the chief tasks of psychological diagnosis in the psychiatric and somatic clinic. The main attention is concentrated on the new tasks of investigation of quality of life, adaptation personality to the illness, prognosis of effectiveness of rehabilitation therapy on the basis psychosocial characteristics of the patients. The connect between psychological and clinical diagnosis is considered. The way of psychodiagnosis in the somatic clinic is presented.
