Objectives of the Russian police to combat crime at the present stage

In this article, the author reveals the general beginnings of the activity of the internal affairs bodies at the present stage, and also sets forth the tasks of the Russian police in combating crime. This need is caused by the development of new socio-political and economic realities, the strengthening of the role of law enforcement structures in overcoming various forms of extremism, terrorism, illegal migration, banditry and other criminal threats of our time, which requires the organization of the activity of law enforcement bodies on the basis of new modern principles.
