Making amends for social harm caused by crime

The article considers issues related to the regulatory legal regulation of smoothing out the harm caused by a crime. The author has analyzed the norms of legislation, decisions of the Plenum of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, investigative and judicial practice, and legal literature. The study showed that the legislator and the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation have not resolved the question of what is meant by measures aimed at restoring the violated interests of society and the state, which are recognized as a form of smoothing out criminal harm in another way.
