The article discusses borrowing as one of the main ways of word formation. Borrowings came to the Russian language from other languages, as a result of relations between peoples and countries. Such words are called foreign language borrowings. Some borrowed words are widely used in various spheres of oral and written speech, others are limited in their use. In our time, borrowed vocabulary is very popular and used.
