Legislative regulation of general conditions for certain of criminal proceedings stages

The article attempts to separate into a separate legal category of the institution the general conditions that apply at any stage of criminal proceedings, but are regulated at the legislative level only at the stages of preliminary investigation and trial. The author analyzes the norms that establish requirements, rules for criminal proceedings at each stage of the criminal process, their conditionality by the principles of criminal proceedings, in conjunction with such categories of criminal procedural activity as its tasks, content and procedural order, as well as results.
