Legislative regulation of the modern institution of administrative supervision

The article considers the normative regulation of the Soviet legal institution - administrative supervision carried out by internal affairs bodies, demonstrates its succession by the modern institution of administrative supervision, identifies fundamental differences in their content and imposition procedures. The author explores the development of the regulatory framework of the modern sanction considered (administrative supervision), filling out legislative novels that have significantly changed the nature and content of the institution in question, noting that the expansion of the scope of administrative supervision is determined by and fully corresponds to the realities of today.
