The legislative process and legislative technologies as a subject of research in the Russian political science discourse

The article discusses the features of the study of the subject area of political science related to the legislative process and technologies. Frequently, these concepts can be considered legal in the domestic scientific political science discourse, but this is not entirely true. The legislative process is a tool to legitimize decisions at the state level and the relationship between the government and society. Legislative technologies are not only a legal method. It is a part of political technology. They are a combination of methods through which political actors can influence the legislative process. The authors conclude that the legislative process and technologies are an independent subject of political study.
