Legislation of the Russian Federation on extremism and tasks of linguistic expertise of texts

The article analyses the acute problems of judicial linguistics related to the study of "the discourse of enmity". The Law of the Russian Federation "On countering extremist activity" is studied from a linguistic point of view; hostility and verbal aggression are considered as a communicative-speech category; the article provides a brief characterization of various types of verbal hostility (domestic, class, religious, etc.), their significant linguistic and communicative features are described; the most important problems the solution of which will contribute to the optimization of the judicial linguistic expertise of extremist texts are identified.
