Patterns of population dynamics clustering in process of animals resettlement over a linear areal

The article deals with complex dynamics and the phenomenon of clustering in linear chains of populations locally connected by migration. The resettlement of individuals in such chains from a single and initially not empty subpopulation is simulated in detail. The model shows that along with its initial number and the type of spatial distribution, the dynamic mode depends in a complex way on the populations’ chain length.
