The notes to geobotanical zoning of the Udmurt Republic

This article is devoted to the issues related to some types of natural zoning of the Udmurt Republic. The purpose of this article is to review the publications on geobotanical boundaries carried out by different researchers in the territory of the Udmurt Republic and to show the need to revise the existing boundaries, based on the current state of the vegetation cover of the Republic. It should be noted that special and detailed geobotanical studies on its territory were not conducted at all, except for the study of floodplain meadows, segetal and ruderal vegetation. Therefore, the main types of vegetation are waiting for their researchers. The history and current state of the issue of the position of the boundaries of geobotanical zoning in the Udmurt Republic are considered. The map chart of geobotanical boundaries and distribution of the main types of vegetation on the territory of the Udmurt Republic as a result of studying of literary sources and natural researches are made. Based on the analysis of modern data on vegetation cover, the lines of the boundaries of 4 geobotanical areas and subzonal boundaries are proposed.
