Assessment of the frequency of concomitant conditions in modern cardiology practice

Diseases of the cardiovascular system are the most frequent disorders in the general population, they occupy a leading position in the structure of total mortality and disability of the working population. The high prevalence of cardiovascular pathology and its frequent pathogenetic relationship with various comorbid diseases and conditions lead to an increase in the number of difficult-to-treat patients with a variety of combined pathology. The main problems in the management of this category of patients are: an increase in the duration of the hospitalization period, the complexity of selecting drug therapy and conducting rehabilitation measures in full due to the presence of cardiovascular risk, an increase in the percentage of adverse events and/or complications throughout the treatment.
