Plan «resurrecting someone’s far-away young image...» (poem «1885» and novel «The life of Arseniev» by Ivan Bunin)

In this paper the comparative analysis of the poem by Ivan Bunin «1885» and the scene of Pisarev’s death in his novel «The Life of Arseniev». Conclusions are drawn about the possibility of substantial new reading of meanings as poems and novels in the context of an artistic idea, which has as its basis for the Gospel of Christ's Resurrection and certificate asserting artistic ability to overcome death through creativity.
