Commandment of one place of worship (deut 12)

Deuteronomy 12 is one of the most famous pieces of the book, and many consider it to be the key in the history of the entire book. Tendentious interpretation of the contained regulations on one place of worship in Israel became the foundation for the documentary hypothesis, and so far the interpretation of this passage is the subject of disagreement among exegetes. In this paper we propose a comprehensive analysis of this chapter, including a detailed analysis of the constitution of one place for worship.
