Prohibiting norms in the mechanism of legal regulation

He article deals with the issue and features of the “mechanism of legal regulation” as a legal category in the domestic theory of state and law. There are shown the general trends in changing the content of prohibiting norms of law, as well as their specificity and determined their role in the mechanism of legal regulation, based on the analysis of the current legislation in recent years. The article author concludes that the value of prohibiting norms of law especially increases in post-industrial society, in the context of globalism and scientific-technological advance, using the analysis, because the growing number of threats to humanity caused by unpredictable results of scientific and technological achievements.
