The origin and evolution of extremism in the world and in Russia

The article interprets the term «extremism», examines the history of the emergence and development of extremist crimes in the world and in Russia at various historical stages and in different periods of social tension. The author comes to the conclusion that extremism is most developed during periods of various socio-political and economic social upheavals.
