Origin of art of the transcription for the balalaika at the beginning of the XX century

The article is devoted to the peculiarities of transcriptions for balalaika, created in the process of astablishing the national musical instruments of academic orientation. On a basis of the first comparative origin analysis and the most appropriate criteria of academic musical performance of transposition and developing the characteristic features of the transformation of the musical material in the works of famous performers on balalaika of that era. This approach allows us to understand the reasons for the success of the transcription of the balalaika in the beginning of the last century, which created the necessary preconditions of formation and development of this kind of creativity.
