Foreign experience in the formation of a strategy for the development of the assortment policy of milk processing enterprises

The assortment policy of the two largest milk-processing enterprises in Russia and New Zealand is considered. The urgency of the research is indicated. A comparative analysis of the raw material base of the Russian Federation by regions was carried out, the leaders were identified, both the total and the private tonnage of raw milk received was reflected. The amount of processed milk is also reflected, the leaders in Russia are singled out. The positional assortment of two enterprises is considered, the development directions for the Russian industry are justified and the expediency of increasing the categories of goods produced by milk processors. A weighted assessment of the condition of the assortment matrix of the two leading milk processing enterprises was made. A comparative table has been created reflecting the assortment policy of the companies. Also, the policy of subsidizing in the markets of the CIS, in particular, the Republic of Kazakhstan, is considered. Recommendations are given, and conclusions are drawn about the expediency of expanding the assortment policy and the presence of support at the state level for dairy enterprises.
