Protection of children from family violence: issues of legal regulation and suggested solutions

In the article topical issues in the field of protection of children from family violence are covered on the basis of the analysis of the current legislation and law enforcement practice. The ways of their solution are offered. It is noted that there is currently a need to form unified approaches to the protection of children from family violence at the Federal level, despite the presence of an extensive regulatory framework. The article author substantiates the point of view under which the legal institution of deprivation of parental rights does not allow to fully protect the rights of children from abuse of their rights by parents. Specific proposals to improve the legislation on the protection of children from family violence are presented.
