Protection of intellectual property by customs authorities: problems and prospects

Due to the expansion and globalization of economic relations, as well as the development of many sectors of the economy, the protection of intellectual property becomes an important aspect. So there is a problem of combating offenses in the sphere of turnover of intellectual property rights, including when moving such goods across the customs border of the Union. The article presents the main elements of intellectual property protection, as well as an analysis of the main indicators of protection. Based on the results of the analysis, existing problems and further ways to solve them were identified.
