The article deals with the actual problem of protecting the rights and legitimate interests of children in international legal acts. The rights of the child and their protection are considered as a legal phenomenon in the modern scientific sense, a law upholding the rights of the child in domestic and international law and their relationship; juvenile legal policy and mechanism to protect the rights of the child in Russia.
