The article is devoted to the key aspects of consumer protection in the context of retail sales contracts. Special attention is paid to legal acts regulating the requirements for product quality and safety, consumer rights, deadlines for fulfilling obligations, liability for defects, and law enforcement practices. The article discusses the features that arise in digital trade and the use of electronic payment instruments, as well as the judicial and extrajudicial procedures for protecting consumer rights.
