Protection of lawyers' professional rights in Russia: theory, practice, prospects

The purpose of this research is to identify and evaluate the most significant methods of preventing and suppressing infringements on the professional rights of lawyers in Russia. The study employed methods of system analysis, historical and formal legal methods, method of studying documents, method of participant observation, structural-functional method and other methods of scientific cognition. The author analyzed the concept and content of the lawyer's professional rights, considered theoretical and practical problems of their protection. Particular attention is paid to the issues of interaction between lawyers and state bodies, proposals for improving legal and organizational mechanisms for protecting the rights of lawyers are developed.
