Family protection international law in light of contemporary realities

The article describes and analyzes the main international human rights instruments relating to the protection of the family. Covering different aspects related to the concept of the family and family members. Identify measures to support, strengthen and protect families. The history of the development and adoption of certain international instruments such as the International Bill of Human Rights. Discussed in detail the work of foreign delegations in the drafting and adoption of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights. Analyze the activity of a number of UN Committee on a regulatory framework for the protection of the family. Considers regulations regarding the development of the family institution in the Russian Federation, Germany. Studied in the treatment of the family set out in the Cairo Declaration on Human Rights, adopted in the framework of the Organization of the Islamic Conference. The author notes the role of natural law and religious values in the formation of the concept of human rights. The article also emphasizes that the newly adopted international human rights treaties, new provisions for the family members who support the fact that the standard-setting process in international human rights law introduces new elements of the conceptual nature
