Molybdenum is part of enzymes involved in the fixation of molecular nitrogen by root nodule bacteria in the reduction of nitrate to ammonia in their plant. It stimulates nitrogen, carbohydrate and phosphorus metabolism, stimulates the viability of nitrogen-fixing bacteria. With a lack of molybdenum accumulates a large amount of nitrates and normal nitrogen metabolism is disturbed. Molybdenum increases in the green mass of the plants amount of ascorbic acid, carotene, has a positive effect on protein and other quality indicators of legumes, increases the yield of legume component in the mixture, and, in the final result, leads to increase collection of protein per unit area. Primarily, molybdenum is needed to bean crops, but deficiency can result in decreased productivity and other plants. The obtained results confirm the efficiency of treatment of seeds with molybdenum wiki. Increase in the yield of green mass of single-species and mixed crops, nitrogen and crude protein in plants is observed, the greatest economic profit obtained in the cultivation of vetch seeds, treated with 1% solution of molybdenum is obtained
