Dependence of the service life of underground structures on aggressive factors

This article discusses the features of underground structures, their nomenclature in accordance with the purpose and location. The main content of the study is the analysis of various types of aggressive effects on underground structures and ways to prevent them. The authors present a general holistic picture of the destruction of reinforced concrete underground structures from the main aggressive environmental factors. As a result of the analysis of the condition of sewage facilities in Moscow, St. Petersburg and generalization of practical experience, the corrosion rate of concrete lining of sewer tunnels is shown, it is noted that a large number of sewage treatment plants are characterized by significant physical wear and needs reconstruction and construction of new blocks.
