Health and the importance of sports in the lives of residents of the Southern federal district

The article presents and analyzes the results of a survey that determined the degree of interest of residents of the southern Federal district in physical culture and sports. Problems such as low activity, mostly sedentary, lifestyle and prolonged presence of people in the premises were identified. Physical culture and sports can resolve this difficult situation.
