Health care as a sphere of public administration: regional aspect

The article presents the most pressing problems, as well as modern mechanisms of state management of the healthcare sector at the federal level, as well as at the regional level, using the example of the federal city of St. Petersburg. In the course of the study, in the opinion of the authors, the most pressing problems were identified and recommendations were presented aimed at increasing the efficiency and improving public management of the healthcare sector in the regional context, considering the specifics of the subject of the Russian Federation under consideration.
