Green economy in the development of rural areas

The study focuses on the necessity and relevance of implementing the principles of green economy in order to ensure the development of rural areas of different countries. The article provides a comparative analysis of the mechanisms and results of the implementation of agricultural policy in Russia and the EU countries. Taking into account the potential available in our country and certain European practices, the authors have formed a set of measures, including the formation of a regional regulatory framework for the development of a green economy in rural areas, the development of state support measures for organic producers, the creation of a register of regional agricultural producers, creation of structural units under the regional ministries of agriculture and Food for the implementation of the principles of green economy in the agricultural sector of rural areas and activation of the system of scientific planning and forecasting in the field of green economy development. Their implementation will contribute to the activation of the development of the green economy, namely circular management methods, on the territory of Russian villages.
