Land plots and land fund as objects of cadastral relations at the present stage of their development

The authors consider the factors that influenced the transformation of the Soviet land cadastre into the modern real estate register of the Russian Federation. Analyze how the concept of «land» and «real estate» in the past two decades has changed in the legislation. Periodization of the development of cadastral relations in post-Soviet Russia is carried out, and a number of adopted decisions are erroneous. Represent their understanding of the content of these relationships.
